The beaches of Calella

The beaches of Calella

The beaches of Calella de Palafrugell have been awarded the highest certification of quality (Blue Flag) from the EU for years. The coves of Port Pelegri, Sant Roc, Port Bo and Canadell are beaches where both old and young are able to enjoy a stress-free swim just a few meters away from the campsite.

The Golfet, Cala Estreta or “La bañera de la Rusa”, which can be accessed by kayak, are the main beaches out of a coast full of coves where you can get lost in nature. All the coves are linked by a beautiful rustic path that parts way from the GR 98. There are little coves, such as “El Port of Malaespina” where, besides having a tranquil bath, you will discover a natural saltwater pool under “La Casa Rosa”, a perfect place in this small natural harbor for babies and toddlers to swim safely in just centimeters of the Mediterranean Sea. At a young age they will already be enjoying the relaxing waters of Calella, an experience they will never forget in an accessible and safe setting and very close to Camping Moby Dick.

On the main beaches of Calella de Palafrugell dogs are prohibited, but not so in the rocky coves.
