L'Empordà and the Costa Brava
L’Empordà and the Costa Brava
Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc, Tamariu and Begur, considered a Slow Town, are part of the region of Baix Empordà on the Costa Brava, which was called the best tourist coast in the world in 2012 and is the place where Camping Moby Dick is located.
L’Empordà is still filled with the essence of Catalan culture. Mediterranean forests, modeled by pagesos (local farmers), are where cereals, apples and grape vines are grown and where fine cuisine is combined with a good sip of DO Empordà wine; young wines that capture the essence and aroma of the land, as in the past, as always and that the people of this land like to offer tourists from around the world, as did Mr. Simon, founder of Camping Moby Dick in Calella de Palafrugell.
