Walking from Camping Moby Dick itself, campers can enjoy either sea or land activities.

At around 100 metres from the campground, our clients can practice diving in the school Poseidon Nemrod in the same beach of Port Pelegri. Other nearby activities include sailing, from Port Bo’s beach, and kayaking from Canadell’s Beach.

There are two pathways that show the beauty of Calella de Palafrugell and which can be done on foot from the campground itself: the path that goes toward the Sant Roc neighbourhood to Golfet’s Beach, and the one that goes from the Tower area to the village of Llafranc.

From the side above the campground, there are several paths that connect with Via Verda (Green Way), route which starts in Santa Margarita’s neighbourhood to the sea village of Palamós. This tour offers both walkers and bikers another alternative to enjoy the countryside.

The famous Botanic Garden of Cap Roig is an enjoyable walk from the campground and is a “must see”.

Close to the campground, there is the possibility of conducting additional recreational activities such as archery, climbing, horseback riding, and even airplane rides.

Cultural visits

You can also visit internationally renown museums such as the Dali Museum and the Toys Museum in Figueras, as well as more locally known, such as the Cork Museum in Palafrugell, Can Mario Museum of contemporary sculpture or the Cinema Museum in Girona, among others.
